If you attended this past Saturday’s 14th Annual Bishop’s Gala 2012 with comedian and actor, Martin Short, you know it was a packed house! Not only were more than 1,000 supporters in attendance, history was made once again with a record-breaking amount of PR and media attention towards this year’s fundraiser which created the biggest buzz to date! Plus, guests exceeded our expectations by raising more than 3 times the amount of funds through this year’s new “Meet the Need” campaign – which guests could participate either by “texting” or donating straight to our “Meet the Need” Wish Wall!
The final numbers are still being tallied up, but according to Bishop Farrell, the night was a huge success, bringing with it the most energy he has seen at this premier fundraiser event!
Thank you to all supporters in attendance Saturday evening who made the night a success. The dollars raised through your generosity will directly assist more than 70,000 vulnerable individuals in need in Dallas this year.
Also, a special Congratulations to our 2012 Raffle Prize Drawing winner, Charlotte Putnam! You are going to Ireland!
